After studying Visual Communications at the Art Institute of Dallas, I worked as a graphic designer for several years and then became Creative Director of an independent craft company. Within that role came the responsibilities of Art Director and Photo Stylist for all photo shoots of their product, which I thoroughly enjoyed as they were more hands-on and visually oriented. After a photo shoot which lasted several months came to an end, I was talking to the photographer about how much I was going to miss being in the studio. He suggested I was a natural at styling and should pursue it for a living…so I did!
I left the Creative Director role and immediately began working as a freelance Photo Stylist and Art Director. I have loved being part of the photography scene in Atlanta (and frequently traveling for work) since the late 1990’s and have a very diverse range of projects that I am always working on.
